Guest Nightwalker
I'm not a falconer, but the numbers have soared over recent years, if they are causing a real problem then why not? Do you see the sparrow hawk as a kind of airborne badger whose numbers must just be allowed to build and build? I wonder what they taste like? Quote Link to post

Darren Wright 0
do i hell as like :aggressive: .......you cant shoot sparrow hawks or kill them. Quote Link to post
Guest Nightwalker
Why do you think that sparrow hawks should be treated differently from crows or magpies and accorded more protection than them? Quote Link to post
Darren Wright 0
sparrrow hawks are addidous to our country & only flurish where there is ample quarry to feed themselfs & their brood when nesting. Crows & Magpies are classed as a pest & are on general licence because of this. As far as Iam aware all birds of prey are protected in this country Quote Link to post
Kane 2
As they are so small and fast I would recommend quite a bit of leed and quite a tight choke. :11: Quote Link to post
Guest chilli
me an bushingman walked round aplace near us before found loads of dead birds of prey all over the place Quote Link to post
Darren Wright 0
me an bushingman walked round aplace near us before found loads of dead birds of prey all over the place <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sounds like some skull duggery has been going on round there. I would be well pissed if I caught someone killing birds of prey it is an offence to harm them under the wildlife and countryside act. I fly birds of prey & love watching the wild Sparrow hawks, Kesterals & buzzards doing their own thing Quote Link to post
