castration yes or no?

just wanted to get some views and advice on castration.

 

does it effect working dogs getting them done?

 

have heard that if you get the dog working first then get it done after 2 years it will be ok but not sure?

it won't change anything to do with work except some dogs will be more prone to puttig on weight so you will have to watch diet/exercise. dont know what difference it would make to get the dog working first then wait two years?

if the dogs a worker then would it really put weight on? the way true running dogs burn the fat off i would have thought it be ok until old .

Wait until the dog has finished growing: 12-14 months. Not only its physical body is growing until then, but the hormone changes help to make the dog an adult mentally: some dogs that are done early, at 6 months or so, remain very puppyish in their heads, which is fine for pets, but not so good for working dogs.

get a sharp knife and cut your balls off then a couple of months down the line see if you have lost any interest or put on weight then you have your answer , jmo but id never mutallat one of my dog by castration
