The one that got trampled to fvck didn't !! LOL !!   Cheers.

Custer owned Stags, (and no, I'm not that old that I was there !! LOL !!), but I don't know what he ran them on. I think there are a few different breeds of wolf in the 'States, in the south and Mexic

wonder if storms up for stud?

Anyone watch it ? That big dog wolf that pulled the bison down, single handed, at the beginning, would have no problem with a Red Stag, I'd think !! :icon_eek:

Cheers.

after it had ran it down for a couple of weeks

Yeh good program that charts,, it's funny watching them films,,, it always makes me wonder how our yank cousins can kill them,,, I honestly don't think I would want to,, mind I would proberbly be soft with coyotes as well,, they just look to much like dogs to me...

Don't get me wrong , I understand the need if it's pest control ,, or some rouge ,, I just wouldn't like to do it

I think the Yanks kill Coyote's simply because they are a pest and kill stock and cost farmers money ! How much damage wolves do to stock, I don't know, and I don't think they are legal game in most states, but I'm sure one of our Colonial Cousins will let us know. I think I would definately run coyote with dogs, and Dan has invited me out there whenever I want to go, but I wouldn't feel the same about shooting wolves, and I'm sure they dont run them with dogs ! :icon_eek:

Cheers.

I dare say they hunt them for the sport as well.

Wasn't it documented that Custer or Rossevelt ran wolves with stags? Seem to remember something like that.

Custer owned Stags, (and no, I'm not that old that I was there !! LOL !!), but I don't know what he ran them on. I think there are a few different breeds of wolf in the 'States, in the south and Mexico there are red wolves which are fairly small, but in the north there are Grey and Timber Wolves, which are huge, so it's quite possible people ran/run the smaller types, but I think one of those big buggers on the tv last night would be out of any dogs scope.

Cheers.
