South hams hunter 8,922 Posted October 27, 2012 Report Share Posted October 27, 2012 as i was sick of travelling for an hour to get to my land i decided to do some door knocking closer to home, managed to pick up a piece close to my other bits aswell so was a result. i have actually knocked this farm several times over the years and he was always out, well this day i managed to catch him. he signed the form and have it the old 'we are plagued down here'. well i phoned him to let him know we where coming as you have to park in his yard, as we set of it seemed great but after doing the first plot the wind died and the moon come out so we didnt have as much chance of getting near them as before. well we continued on anyway walking most of the 450 acres but wasnt able to cover two of his 5 plots as the ground wasnt suitable for running the dogs on. anyway came home with 8 and will be ferreting the rest tomorrow.
