terriers and harris'

anyone work terriers with harris hawks? or does everyone use spaniels?

Until this season I was using a Sporting Lucas Terrier with mine. My friend also used a Parsons Russel with his. It was a few years old when he got his first bird and we were worried how it would react to the birds but they settled down fine.

ive a patterdale bitch that i was thinking on using to flush rabbits but im having second thoughts as i think if the hawk nails the rabbit she might rush in and kill or damage the bird so for me its a no.

ive got a book called rabbit hawkers dogs. and a couple of yanks use jack russels with harris hawks and swear by them especially in dense cover.

I used to take my old bitch bushing rabbits on formby dunes with two Harris hawks,they worked very well together

i read the same about yanks and jack russels, what about plummers as i got an excellent bushing plummer bitch
