Probably the main reason terrier crosses, bedlingtons aside, aren't more popular is the risk of yapping progeny. The worst I ever heard yap was a beddyxwhippet are whippets in general silent. never seen 1 work in 20 odd years. but keep hearing and reading even on the whippet forum that there a fair few yappers within the breed. Cannot speak for other folks whippets, but can honestly say, my whippet never opens up nice one keith. it was a genuine question. i have no experience of the breed. Quote Link to post
