Many carpers on here ?

Just wondered is there many carp fisherman on here ? If there is where do you fish ? I do a fair bit in spring and summer. Ive just been made a bailiff on a lake near me some proper lumps in there. I get to fish it 8 months before anyone else aswell.

hi mate. i like to do a bit in the summer too. surface fishing is my favourite but i do like getting behind a few rods and relaxing.that lake looks lovely how big is it and which part of the world is it in atb RAW

Agree mate i love my surface fishing. That lake is just outside reading mate about 5 min walk from my house. Its about 10 acres with a few islands.

Lol i doubt it mate. Theres only about 12 biguns in that whole water the rest are just pasties.

I fish a water in hertfordshire with just a handful of fish to catch

Nah mate i aint even fished it yet just been catching mink and rabbits off there. Weve also got abit of a cormorant problem. I walk it most days and i put between 2-5kg of bait in there a week. Might do a quick night on there next week if i can.

Ive also got a really nice chalk stream on one of my permissions. I tie a rabbit or pigeon to a pipe under the bridge and that prebaits for me. Caught trout upto 14lb this way.

U southerners are spoilt down there,not many decent carp waters up this way.I tend to travel around Oxford and Gloucestershire to fish the gravel pits in the area.I have just been offered a place with prince Albert as for next year looking forward to challenge that comes with tackling northern club waters
