Bosun11 537
I was thinking about getting a spaniel/terrier cross for bushing but one of these would do the job with less shit to shovel...!
Born Hunter 17,763
I can't see the vid on this machine. Is it of the DARPA legged squad support system? Fecking mad some of the top end military projects. "Rise of the machines" lol Interestingly and coincidentally the British military satalite network is called 'Skynet'.......

It skitters about like its on ice but manages to stay on its feet though..

Born Hunter 17,763
Similar sort of technology that they will be using for extraterrestrial exploration soon I would think. A legged machine has certain all-terrain advantages over a conventional wheeled machine. Just a shite load more complex.
Born Hunter 17,763
wonder if its going to be armed? It's American.......... they'll have an automated .50 mounted on top with 350 pounds of ammunition.

scothunter 12,609
Why? I'm guessing its military? Prob from what it cost you could build 3 modern tanks. Which could do all that can, and more. Unless it can scale mountains I really don't see what use it could be. Not pissing in your vid malt lol
The one 8,477
To big and bulky to transport easier taking my son and loading him up with all the gear

It's for carrying kit apparently, mechanical donkey type thing which won't kick you in the bollocks when you're looking the other way! Think what it would be like with something like a Vulcan cannon fixed to it. You could have the firepower from an A10 waking alongside a patrol going everywhere they go on foot..
