On foot, you get to see a load more stuff when your mooching about, I like to see the barn owls and stuff when your creeping about.

I have never been out on foot every one I have been with always goes out of a ute but we chase foxes aswell witch would be hard to keep up with on foot .im currently running a powerbeam 11inch roofmount

if its anythin like the winter we had 2 years ago i think a vehicle would be the safer option, if you can get to it at all then at least you have heat... i remember settin off on foot and fallin into a stream and walkin the 3 mile journey home in -15 temperatures.... i nearly didnt make it, it actually put me off lampin for a while after it!!

​was out ferreting the end of last year jesus it was that cold me hands froze took me ages to get me fly's down to piss on them ,warmd them up a treat. LOL
