Just something I have never been around, but I have heard more bad then good about them. Fair enough mate. You a coursing bred dog man then? Quote Link to post
J.DOG 1,355
Only my opinion now,, so take the cross hairs off ,, so you own saluki crosses ,and the ones that dont have know brains,, yes right.. No he's saying that people who say "salukis have no brain" have not got a brain. Not people who don't own salukis. Salukis are far far from thick! So true mate , I like collie crosses they are great but I prefer my saluki crosses just my preference , and when people say they don't have brains makes me laugh as they are far from thick , I've a pup here 3/4 saluki grey he's been the easiest to train out of all my dogs , and tbh I'd like a collie blooded Lurcher later on if I could pull myself away from saluki crosses Quote Link to post

Its all I have ever had, no world beaters by any mean's, but for what I am after, they have always done me proud, though I am tempted to get a 3/9 5/8 bull greyhound as my next dog Quote Link to post

I've got 2 heavy saluki blooded dogs and another with saluki blood also I've hunted with my family since I could walk and always had saluki greys or saluki xs of some sort my dad had 5 saluki greys , 3pures all ran well my uncle still has 7 saluki bred dogs and still runs them I've grown up around saluki xs and like to think I know what they are capable of if brought on right Just my opinion 1 Quote Link to post
