Millet 4,497
I had the pup out the other night with the nightmaster 800 i only seen 4 rabbit's but it picked them up no bother and i got 4 run's..i had no problem keeping them in the beam..but a more experienced lamping dog would of had a better chance i would say...the only fault i found with the torch on the type of land i run is once the rabbit has hit cover the beam is not wide enough at close quarter's to light the hedge up enough to give the dog a chance of nailing the bunnies in cover..but when the cover has died back i don't see this being a problem..time will tell i suppose.. Edited to add here is a picture for Paulus of one of it's other good uses.. Edited November 1, 2012 by Millet

fiona22 0
Thanks guys, have seen some with 3800lm for the same price- would this be better, or too many lumens? Thanks

Thanks It depends what you want it for, very bright torch but more of a flood than spot also i don,t think the batteries last long enough and you can,t keep it on the high setting for to long. Born Hunter 17,751
Millet, just the man I'm looking for! I see you have a clulight jobby. Simple question, are they any good? I'm after a decent lamp that'll drop into a coat pocket. I really like the secondary bulb on them as well for gates/ditches etc. Sorry to highjack the thread but just looking for a quick answer.... fiona22 0
Thank you all for the help, now is there any difference between these 'brands'? I have seen loads but most look the same with just a different name on them. Thanks
