You can all sit on here and pass judgment and say this shouldn't happen that shouldn't happen you should do this do that blah blah blah ..... The only people that can pass judgement on topics like this are those of us that have been in these hell holes fighting for your life every second of every day when your out there where crossing a compound with your head a little to high will get you killed and every step you take could literally be your last and it has for to many lads ... And that's just normal soldiering you go into a whole different realm when you are carrying out other tasks not talked about by the media rightly or wrongly men women and children will all gladly end your life out there and parade your body through the streets before hanging it high and burning it .... Anybody can sit behind a computer screen and decide what's ethical and what's not ... It's a different story when your there and every body around you wants to make your kids fatherless ............

 

 

i agree 100% its a place that turns boys into men and until you have been there under fire and seen you mates wounded and so on its horrible to say but you go numb

I've been under fire whem poaching and that is bad enough..fook me you lad's have ball's like a elephant..

I agree socks if you have been there, you probally will have a different view. I can still debate have a moral opinion on something though.

No offense but I've had mates who were squaddies my own brother Aswell, and listening to them talk ( well let's just say they weren't the sharpest knife in the drawer) so forgive me if I don't take everything a serving or ex soldier says as gospel.

 

 

i think there is plenty that aint the sharpest tool about mate probably me included :laugh:

 

You have to have something wrong with you to join the armed forces!!!

 

 

even more so if you wanna be a para :whistling:

 

I should fit right in then, the training is going well mate, my running time's are improving, slowly but surely :thumbs:

I can't but 100% agree with you there..i may be wrong i may be right..but if i was in a situation where i was going to be killed by savages and i was armed..i would empty my magazine's into every last one of them regardless of age or gender..

now the sas really are a rare breed :laugh: had some people who was in colchester military prision who had been in the sas for 10 years and there was no doubting he was a rare egg the staff never used to f**k him around though :laugh:

Traditionally yes paras and guardsmen but that was in the past it is pretty even across the board as far as infantry is concerned now ... And there are more and more REME and engineers etc passing selection these days .... But it has been said that selection is not as tough as it used to be ... :whistling:

That last vid has left a rotten taste. First group fair enough engagement but jesus fookin christ the van :icon_eek: anybody with half a brain would think follow the van no rip the shiit out of it either a) they are taking him for medical treatment at a hospital so just pick up suspect there or b ) taking him to an Insurgent hideout where possbly the forces could then get some intelligence etc. Gung ho as fuuck
