fat man 4,741 Posted December 31, 2014 Report Share Posted December 31, 2014 Had a great morn on woodcock this morn,flushing 7 that i seen and accounting for 5 with a young 7month old springer making a nice retrieve on 1.The dogs flushed more but in the woods so although i heard them did not see them.Went for a half hour to a pool then this eve and had 2 mallard and a teal so good days shooting,just to add should of had a double on the woodcock but missed an easy bird. I can safely say I've never seen 4 woodcock in a mornings shooting around here so early in the season. Put 1 up the opening morning last week so compared to other years they're early.
