BEARINATOR 2,869
l am one for giving a pup a chance but that thing is never going take shape and will be giving a way to a pet home before to long. What is the reason for putting one off them to a grey??????? So your not one for giving pups a chance, more than happy with him so he stays! Why put any thing to a grey???????????? Speed l would say but that pup looks to heavy set and has took too much to the mothers side off things. In a years time you be on here with a new dog.If you looking a dog for around holes then could work out if you looking a running dog thats not it maybe a 2nd ger one could work??? Not unless he gets killed! He catching plenty and isn't 9 months yet, filling big bags! He is strong built but is surprising fast and should only get better!! Sorry pictures dont tell a story but that pup looks far from fast and filling big bags at 9 months????? Yeah doesn't take a lot of kills to fill a big bag;) if you like I could bring him over one night for a walk? You could enter him in the show? Nice little walk to Ireland Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Where are you from earlystart? If anywhere within a couple of hours drive then I would be happy to come over to you with my bitch, go for a mooch or lamp and then report back to the lads on here. If he is as good as you say then credit where credit is due, I will say it how it is. If he is useless and what you say on here is all lies then I will say that aswell I'm not too bothered what people think about my dog, she's ok. She would never do 5/5 on fens and would never do 5 reds a night - night after night (preban) but she keeps me happy and I would never feel the need to prove what I say to anyone. A few lads of late who havent seen her run have doubted her speed and I've had a mate with a bull cross saying his dog would be faster. Now I know my bitch is fast. She's as fast as my mates whippet off the mark and as fast as my mates sal/grey top end. So I've organised a track day. But Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
But it's more a bit of fun than anything. I think when keeping and working dogs becomes a full time job and NEEDING to be the best then you might as well quit and take up a sport yourself. So when you fail you can blame yourself and not the dogs that keep getting passed around. That's not aimed at you earlystart - just in general. Atb. Gaz Link to post

chief pudding 17
why a mal? no really why a mal? Seen a mates work and wanted one I've had different breeds over the years and the mal equal most. ok enough of silly slagging ,hers few questions for you id be grateful if you would answer 1.Why did you tell lies at start or if you want be economical with truth at start? saying youve only met talkscheap/flint once and dont really know him in PM to someone ? Then it comes out youve been mates for years , 2. Why say this was your first dog at very start and thats why you put loads of bone threads up about Mal x ? 3.Why block deerman from PM so most of this shit didnt have to be on here ? its like you want it on here so Mal x allways in peoples faces ,like theres no such thing as bad publicity ? 4.You say youve had loads of different breeds over years ,so the Mal x equals most ,so would you say the Mal x equals a GOOD bull x in bottle/guts when they all bay at quarry if it turns and faces them ?(and this is what flint/earlystart wrote they did ) and im not taking piss here i want to know your honest thoughts on this? 5,Same with coursing dogs you say they equals them in wind?Im not saying here for one min they havent wind (as i would of thought from Mal they would ) but has it been tested ? i know they had once was it 60 rabbits between 2 dogs ,but theres loads of other crosses can do this. i know that at most they dont get more than 10 runs a night on quarry thier used on? so have they been really tested for wind? are any of these dogs over 4 ? so how can you say these dogs equal most crosses when have they been tested fully allround and could they being under 4 when the crosses your saying they equal have been tested and around for 20 plus years........ why did he add coursing blood to them?.... 6.How long has Talkscheap/Flint08 been breeding dogs?Has he ever bred a dog he used himself in last 20 years?...or is this the first go hes had at breeding working dogs /a line? id be grateful if you could answer these and it does not turn into the usual slagging match CP Edited October 24, 2012 by chief pudding Link to post

Show me where I said I didn't know Pete for long? Then where I said I've known him for years then I'll answer.2. Show me where Ive said this is my first dog. 3. I have never blocked Deerman and had plenty of pm from him. 4. They are not out and out coursing dogs but but breed for a job.all the bull x's I have ever seen I would say yes. But I've been told by a chap of here he has the right bull x's so no reason for him to lie because he's offered me out around there but all the mal xs are doing well and I've not heard of one bad one yet I know theres not that many about. But can the same be said for % of bull?. 5. We are talking about two different things here. But I'd say they match any bull x for wind. Hope this clears things up a remember I save all the best pm 's I get so if people want to talk and show stuff I've got some nice ones that might stir a bit of shit between certain boys on here.... bird 9,926
That has to be the most ugly dog Ive ever seen under the guise of a lurcher i suppose if it was stream lined or maybe a bull type head it would be ok lol , its not what it looks like it what it puts in the bag. And a lurcher was always a x with a sheep dog to a running dog , thats what i was told 25 years ago . A lurcher is a working dog (gundog, sheepdog, sled dog, terrier, etc ) to a running dog . Ive liked 1xs my Dog Bryn is a 1x colliexgrey, and done me proud over 5 years never let me down, my newpup Buck is 1x gsd x grey ,and he should be as good with bit of luck, and he prob (wont) look like your (conventional) looking lurcher, but i could'nt give a fook as long as he fills the bag 1 Link to post
