mhopton 807
Evening all this is only my first post apart from saying hello . Me and my son( 11years old ) and brother and his lad of 14 took my little polecat out for her 2nd time with my jack russel both are under a year old and I've been out off hunting for some time through working away. Any way new land we gained permission on over the summer was on the hit list . Arrived about 8 Sunday morning set off up the fields to a 16 hole hill side set nice and open perfect ' with all the nets on and jess (my polecat) ready to roll ' in she went half Hartley thinking the worst how wrong I was . 8 in the nets my son was like wow dad how good is this he was over the moon . After a few more sets time was on for 1 o'clock and 17 rabbits in the bag thought it was time to go , on way back Molly ( my JR) put a rabbit up and ran it down a hole and she followed getting stuck in the hole got her free but she was going mad so we set the nets 4 holes jess in and it was like bombs going of under ground 5 more in the nets two slipping but never got far as Molly was on every thing . It's up there with my best ever hunting trips ever seeing jess & Molly working so good and together for only the second time and the looks on the kids faces said every thing it's a day they will never forget or me 3 Quote Link to post

But Sunday was really good very pleased with the way they work together its unreal and it's all down to our lass I work away so she looks after them she's got them running around in garden playing together like best mats we'll I've never seen it before not like this . When I'am home Friday i will video it and post it on here To show you , but I must say I thought they would be rubbish as they are more like pets well they are to our lass they only hunt when with me twice a month Quote Link to post
