walshie 2,804
I read in the Sunday paper that the Animal RIghts people thought the badger cull was going to go ahead in the "next few days" and had already placed trail cameras in the area. Sounds like free trail cams for anyone who wants to look for them.
milegajo 595
Don't take mine! Just bought it t'other day and its great, some errant pheasants photographed at 3 today so i'll be waiting, tx in hand tomorrow! Be aware that some upgraded models have gprs enabling photos to be emailed or sent via mms. I don't like the idea of tampering with/stealing other peoples kit but equally one could argue they shouldn't be abandoning expensive cameras for people to 'salvage', so each to their own... JohnGalway 1,043
There's also the possibility there's a camera watching the camera. Some cameras come with codes, so you'd have to know and input the code to have it work. Input the code wrong so many times and it has to go back to the factory. I'd leave well enough alone TBH. Anti's might be smelly and ugly, but not all of them are stupid.

rob190364 2,594
remove it, place it in an obvious location aimed straight at the school netball court...cops will trace the owner, anti will get done and placed on the list
fitchet 788
I remember reading in a magazine about 2 keepers who moved the camera and write a not saying if you want them back theyll be on ebay. They positioned the camera so they could clearly see the culprits. Sounds good to me ?
kenny14 656
I recently found a camera at the side of the road in a cull area. It looked as though it had been dropped accidentally, and not knowing if it belonged to a fellow hunter, I decided to check the memory card to see if there were any photos that might show the owner as they were setting it up . There was a photo on the card which made me sure the camera must've been dropped by someone against the cull, as the people certainly fit the 'Bill' of typical antis.
