this is my mate one we use it to bet cover for foxs it a belter would go forever its now 15 i think and still comes out on a sat beating with others there is more beagle than jack in it:thumbs: its not the best pic

Making MUTTS is NOT how breeds were/are developed.

 

Not entirely true, every breed in the world is a blend of other breeds to start off with, even KC breeds, don't tell me for example the PRT is a pure bred breed that dropped from the sky! the amount of white lakeland the breed has in it amongst other things bull terrier, they are made up of working lines originally, working terrier men bred the best to best or at least did back then regardless of its breed as long as it was a good earth terrier.

I laugh when i hear certain indivduals say a Fell Terrier or Patterdale is not a Patt/Fell just because its black if its cross JRT or whatever else! excuse me? but when ever did a pure bred Fell/Patt appear? Years ago they were crossed with bedlingtons, Jacks, Borders & even sealyhams the breed was never what would be termed a pure bred & thank god for that lest we'd have no working terriers left, all those trying to gain KC recognition for the black terriers need their heads looking at, leave at least one breed in the world for the terrier men who like to (properly) work their dogs please i implore you!

im putting my foot beagle across a lakeland bitch at the end of the week. with a bit of luck they should turn out tidy workers

ive got a jack x patt x beagle shes about 9 months an comin on well was a bit funny about the bushes at first but now she loves them! bolted her first bunny the other day aswell that was snapped up by the beddy whippet ill try an get some pictures tomorra.
