toby63 1,236
mine will chuck out owt from 32g 6s to 2oz loads in 3 1/2 inch shells no probs.mine works on the amount of recoil others work on gas i think. Quote Link to post
scarecrow243 24
ones that adjust use the gas piston they have different ways Quote Link to post
remi700 99
If its gas operated a lighter spring on the magazine tube should allow it to cycle lighter loads. For my money the no more reliable better value semi auto on the market then a fabarm. I've had two, the guy i shoot with has 1 and 2 other guys in our club shoot them. Never had a problem between us. Cycles all loads. Quote Link to post

David Dey 2
I've had most of them but the best and most reliable I've had is the Fabarm XLR. I'm Left handed and the only ones made now are Hatsan, Benelli and Fabarm. The worst one I've had was the Benelli, back to the importer twice for jamming(never cured) and rusting of the barrell. I also have a pal with a M2 and he has rusting problems, both of us are fastidius in the cleaning department. I called mine Bob Marley becaus it was allways "jammin" DD Quote Link to post
Ratsmasher 36
Dare I say it but my hatsan escort doesnt give me any problems....but i seem to be one of very few with this view Quote Link to post

jackinbox99 41
Ive a Beretta 391, ive had it for donkeys years and its been utterly reliable. Ive put 21g upto 32g through it without any problems at all. Used it out in the fields and at one point I was putting at least 500 cartridges through it every weekend on the clays. I clean its internals twice a year - nice & easy to do, and ive only ever had 2 "jams" when it didnt cycle the 2nd cartridge correctly and they were on cheapo 28g clay cartridges. 2 jams out of thousands cant be bad. Price wise, looking at what they sell for 2nd hand now, it looks like ive lost next to nothing in depreciation on it either - as I bought mine 2nd hand originally too. Quote Link to post
