christian71 3,187
I've two discs that are totally disintegrated through wear and tear and take dihydrocodeine, gabapentin (nerve block) and naproxen (similar to diclofenac), been through pain management most of which was total bollocks. I also have regular injections into the joints of my spine. f****d my back up years ago, it go's every now and then it went this year worse than ever, was f****d couldnt put me shoe's or sock's on, fart f**k all, me back was stuck and couldnt straigten it up, had 4 months of work the only thing that helped was tramadol, you dont think of the pain cos it sends you to the moon. But started to get me back moving, Made me sick as f**k, so the dr put me on dihydrocodeine wasnt as good as tramadol but didnt send you to the moon or make you sick Had a x ray came back with arthritis, had a epidural steroid injection, that didnt work, had a scan, slipped 2 disc's, torn another disc, and worn away between 2 discs that kept trapping my nerve. Not as bad now but still not right go to work but cant do what i used to, got a another injection in a couple of weeks.

bird 9,969
hurt my back in 1980, and never been right since. on tramadol but only take 2 a day just before bed. ive got sciatica now ,which his in buttock+legs. One thing i find helps is your( posture), try to stand up straight shoulders back head high , it does really help and keep your weight down, i am 6ft 13st which is about right for me,.Carrying weight put strain on your lower back, try these things wont change your back prob, but will def help it.
