Lol ok then mate. Not that it matters what hes worth as hes staying with me for a while yet. And hes turning into a cushty little gry for the kids.

Local hound kennels will be very glad of all that meat in a few years time :D not cheap to feed a pack of hounds these days you know gem :cray::tongue2:

Funny enough the connemara x my fella bought will probably be sold to knackers yard in a year or so, after seeing my new filly hes finally realising I wasnt being mean when I told him she was a heap of shite

Shes a rough looking thing.. Yet the mare she was out of is a lovely animal... Gonna give her a while longer see if she surprises me but I doubt it, dont think she'll be worth breaking in even...

If I can get 250-300 for her from the knackers yard next summer i'll be delighted.

Im confident that next year I will be buying another horse for my fella

Nice filly Gem,we have a Caviler bred horse aswell,great to jump and very brave,will attempt anything he is but to,but very easy to ride and well mannered

but i think you should give the connemarra a chance ,they can make a great ride and drive pony.

we have a couple and they are great for the kids and strong enough for me to ride as well :thumbs:

Hes a nice looking horse alright l330, will be at least 6-12mths before the connemara x is big enough for the factory... If all of a sudden she turns out to be a looker I will sell her at drumshanbo instead, but it costs as much to keep a bad horse as it does a good one.

I have had some great looking horses that where wankers and a few butt headed ugly cobs that where worth their weight in gold when it came to pulling carriages around Dublin City,but unless you train her and put the time in you will never know :thumbs:

I learnt to ride on ugly cobs, so far the only use I can see for the connemara x is as a companion horse... He will stil need a hunter in the next year or 2 and we only really have 7acres to graze them on
