For most of my 60 years I have had a passion for all fieldsports particularly working my lurchers and terriers on all legal quarry. I love mooching about on my permission land with a dog and my air rifle or spending a day ferreting. I still go out lamping but not as much as when I was younger and fitter !! I enjoy fishing too. I enjoy writing articles for various dog and fieldsports magazines. I am a founding member of the European Plummer Terrier Society and a committee member. Plummer terriers are my favourite dogs along with lurchers. I collect hunting memorabilia especially antique and vintage animal traps and all books on dogs and hunting. I also love greyhound racing. I have visited 43 different greyhound stadiums / tracks...........some of them sadly closed now. I have spent many years supporting fieldsports and I attended all of the hunting rallies / marches................London, Birmingham and Edinburgh ( march on the mound ). The hunting ban should be repealed. I also love coursing and attended the Waterloo cup and Anglia cup every year until the spiteful ban. I also love birdwatching and identifying wild flowers.
