kranky 507
you criticize people, saying they they are going to ruin the topic, when you wankers are doing a sound job already, yeah, i can be an immature knob at times, but only on the chat section, get a grip ffs fella's!!! And as for deer dogs pre-ban, the best i seen was a saluki x, coursing bloodlines someones forgot their medication No, pre-ban deer was what i mostly done, so it pisses me off when idiots ruin it, including yourself, grow up, your here to keep topics on the straight and narrow, not ruin them, yeah i do find your banter funny, but there is a time and a place!!! get a grip ffs where have i criticized anyone, just stated a fact, these post as regular as pmt and end up just as grumpy within hours Quality!!!! I'm stealing that Paulus, I will give you credit whenever I use it though! Saluki x's love a deer. They ain't my cup of tea though, even though they're excellent at the job. Before bull x's where in favour, deerhound x's and collie x's were used a lot. Anyone that tells you that deer, daytime or lamped, aren't a test for a Lurcher has never seen them run. A comparison to sheep is ridiculous, for a start, sheep don't jump clean over stock fencing in full flight. Those dear little muntjac, may not have the length of leg to kick a dog off, but God thought about that and sent them out into the field tooled up like a Peckham schoolboy! 2 Quote Link to post
fieldsportsman 107
what did you find was a real test for you dog once the dog caught them, they never really put up much fight, but a roe buck that knew his patch was a tough one to catch, they can shift through the gears quick enough to. yes the bucks are fairly light compared to other species with the bucks waighing around 27 kg, then cant half shift when needs be Quote Link to post
gamerooster 1,179
the ban came in feb 2004, so 10 remember, its only illegal if you get caught 1 Quote Link to post

To be honest Ray if you've got a good deer dog it should NEVER come to that but obviously you will have the exception? ..they should be pulled long before it get's to the stage of the deer being ran to exhaustion imo 2 Quote Link to post
