I'm breed blind, deerhound x greyhound for me.

What ever works for you mate  did they suit you well on the fallow before the ban?

Yes they did. In truth my first of this breed was a

Fox dog, as deer weren't available to run and I was a teenager who knew no better.

ffs all this doe talk ,,,,pmsl

So you've run plenty then? And you've had dogs that you trained to run past the does and yearlings to catch up with the bucks leading the charge? Or you've ignored the herds that fallow were in and gone out searching for the solitary bucks or the young bucks that hang about in 2's and 3's? Or you need to have a strong coffee and wake up from your dreams? Which is it?

what did you find was a real test for you dog

once the dog caught them, they never really put up much fight, but a roe buck that knew his patch was a tough one to catch, they can shift through the gears quick enough to.

You never had a Roe buck turn and face the dogs?

A BITCH I HAD A SAL/GREW COURSED A DOE OVER A FIELD AND AS SHE STRUCK THE DOE ON THE BACK OF THE HEAD AND BOTH WENT TO THE FLOOR A ROE BUCK CAME TO HIS GIRLS AID AND COURSED MY BITCH ABOUT 700YRDS IT WAS HILARIOUS.:thumbs:
