walshie 2,804 Posted November 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 12, 2012 Persistence pays off! I kept baiting the cage and got a small dog fox about a week ago. I saw the bigger one on my cctv and it was eating the bait through the side of the cage. Last night at about 9.30 it got sloppy and actually went in. Hopefully this will be the last for a while. FENN 24 Posted December 15, 2012 Report Share Posted December 15, 2012 leave the cage unset with bait in for a couple of days let the fox take it then after a couple of days set the trap this should work ..By the way is the floor of the trap covered with soil if not the fox wont like the feel of the mesh on his feet too unnatural .
