My little bedlington whippet used too do that but it would often put rabbits in the bag. When a rabbit hits a hedge and it is off course the dog would often nab it.

But then I know what you mean you don't really want a dog storming a hundred yards through a hedge on mission impossible making a racket when there is lamping too be done.

Swings and round abouts I guess

How do you mean it gets stuck?? Or do you mean it won't come back?

yh she gets stuck inside the hedge if its big enough, the thing is the rabbit has long gone but shes still looking for it, i want to try and nip this in the bag asap, i appreciate that alot of rabbits can be caught just inside the hedge but shes trying to search for it for some time later or will she grow out of this as she gets the hang of it?

As above your bitch is just keen to work and catch,,and many a rabbit has been caught just hiding in the confines of the hedge cover..it would be worse if she just gave up and couldnt be bothered.

Ok that's great so you think eventually the penny will drop when she learns the tricks of the trade abit more? Many thanks
