Tom2010 31 Posted October 18, 2012 Report Share Posted October 18, 2012 I am not an expert on hunting but i do it and enjoy it and my dogs good enough. im not hardcore out every night but just need some advice. how does everyone feed your rabbits to your dogs, ive heard loads say dont loads say do, an pple say raw an pple saw boiled. an pple say not the heads etc. is there anythn that you should or should not do to avoid any troubles for the dogs? Its ok carrying them with guts still in if youve only got 1 or 2 but when you start catching a few it all helps bring the wieght down and preserve the qaulity of the meat. The only trouble with feeding rabbit with fur on is when the dog is left in the boot with a few and he eats them. Me and another member off this site were out a couple of weeks ago and we left some bunnys in the car with a lurcher pup. By the time we came back she mustve eaten her wieght in rabbit !!!
