hows the season started off for everyone ??

Had a few good night's out with the lurcher filled a canny bag full had a few lads down this,way for a night's lamping and they havnt been disapointed.

However went out last night and had a shit night me mates dog got the only rabbit of the night due to other lampers getting out before us and we ended up following then about, every field we went in there was nothing.

 

So lads/lasses have you started on a high ?

My show season starts april/may cant wait, I will be sitting in watching eastenders all winter though

My seasons started bad with both my dogs getting injured. But as soon as they healed up they have done well so far and i have picked up a load of permission. Its gearing up to be one of my best seasons yet.

It is my Bitches first season and took her out properly for the first time the other night with another friends dog. She did really well sticking to the.. rabbits like glue. Took 2 of them but both were caught by my friends dog. Second bunny she turned very well and at one point I was sure she caught it, but only nudged it with her nose she was hot on it though turn after turn. My bitch is a Saluki X and my friends was a beddywhipet...

 

Overall very pleased with her performance for her first night out. Time to get some more hours in and bag up a few kills now!

Well happy with my little Whippet bitch 14 month old first season she's had 3 rabbits on the lamp both man and dog learning more each time out
