Guest ceredigion bull cross
Seems like there a lot of muppets that make their own mind up about what should and shouldnt be advertised on a '' BULL BREEDS '' forum and seeing as my bitch is a BULL BREED thought some of you might be interested.

And what i will mention is the picture of the bitch was when she was 4 weeks pregnant with the pups so she isnt going to look in top nick is she.

A good dog whether working or not is never a bad colour.

The bitch has worked and will work again and just because it isnt smashed up doesnt mean it doesnt work it just means its got a brain and it isnt a competition about whos dog has the most scars.

And besides the fact it was an advert and not a question about the quality or whether or not anyone likes blues I couldnt care less what anyone thinks I like my stuff and if you dont then you should keep your mouth shut and stop crabbing other peoples stuff and spend less time bullshitting on this site and do some hunting.

well said .............. do you have any other working dogs ??????

A good dog whether working or not is never a bad colour.

sorry had to jump in here, i think you may well have contradicted your self,

you are right there is no such thing as a bad colour, i will have any colour as long as its not yellow! ha ha

but to continually breed from a line of dog with no rhyme or reason other than the colour it bad practice,

the boring bit,,,,,,, the gene responsible for the blue colour is recessive to all other colours in the Stafford therefore to achieve full blue litters the only dogs that could have gone into the mix were blue (or dogs containing a high percentage of blue).

Facts are by narrowing your choice to only blue dogs you are also perpetuating the chance for continuing the faults seen in the some blue dogs,

in doing this you are also removing the change to further improve the line by maximising your choice of stud.

So what was your rationale for choosing the sire?

What impressed you so much that he was the correct dog to use?

What attributes and previous feats had he achieved to credit him worthy to breed from?

Oh and just out of interest what price did you pay for the stud?

You say your selling below the exaggerated blue price but theses are still over priced against "lesser coloured" SBT's as shown in your own post!

the thing i am still confused as to why you would go to the bother of breeding blue "KC" dogs?

they gain little or no respect are frowned upon in the show ring?

one last point are you 100% sure of the ped behind your girl as that ear carriage and muzzle shape looks to be far from KC?

As some will know, i have several close friends who do have blue Stafford's mainly Irish and have seen them give their all in various competitions,

but even with them and my own experience an out cross will give stronger litter and help combat some of the faults.

all the above said, i whish you every luck with the pups and i am sure who ever gets them will end up with a great family pet,

p.s. i think you will find this is a "Hunting" forum with a Bull Breed section for people who own and work the bull type breeds,

well you know what answer i usually get....eeerrrr a bit of ratting / weight pull

cheeky sod,, that weight pull is "heavy" stuff and proves the dog has a certain amount of potential to continue the request of his owner even when the going gets tough!

I for one have respect for dogs that put that hart and sole into it!

i do however realize that this has bugger all to do with hunting,,, ha ha and in no way proves the dog for this!

In fact can be exactly what you don't want,, heavy muscle bound dog only able to achieve short bursts of explosive energy,,,

probably the main reason why me and some of the lads are trying to run more simulated coursing type meets, got to say great fun and improves the dog performance out chasing rabbits!

all the best,,,

The father is a very strong little dog standing at 15 inches to the shoulder, he has been bred from exeptional show lines including Vanoric Voodoo, and he is L-2-HGA clear. these puppies will be clear of this inherited problem.

The Sire and Dam are L2 HGA tested? or just the Sire? what about HC? have the Sire and Dam been tested for that also, if only the Sire has been tested the pups can not be carriers that is true but they still could carry one copy of the L2 HGA gene and pass it on to new generations.

All well and good using a tested stud dog but to use that as an extra incentive for buyers seems a bit pointless if the other tests have not been carried out.

Yes I do have other working dogs terriers and lurchers and she helps out with both she is not much of a runner but she is very game. Nice to see that not everyone on this forum is a twat

its a sad fact mate that no matter what people post on these hunting sites the chances are someone will try and shoot you down especially when it involves breeding , there seems to be certain members who think they know it all and certain members who are up each others arse always patting each other on the back and so on, im not a bull or bull cross owner , never have been although i would have loved to aquire a apbt when younger as there is something about them i definatly respect. dont let the knockers get your back up mate so long as you know you have bred from sound animals and you are giving mother and pups all they need. i do like the look of the sire, maybe you could post more photos of the bitch when she is back in condition. :victory:

One hundred percent spot on.

could a MOD please remove this thread as it is firstly a classified ad that if allowed on this forum at all should be in the classified section and secondly has absolutely noting to do with hunting.

as far as jumping down the guys throat goes ~ i fairness, what was he expecting? a pat on the back for being one of the horde who are the downfall of the breed as workers? NO! if noone else does i'll be the first to jump down someones throat for breeding for form without a thought for function. why why why?!

Kris; this is a hunting forum, where people passionate about working their bull breeds like to come and gain info etc on the subject. NOT where pet owners come and sell their show dogs on for £500 a hit.

bullshit IMO

So what are you saying, remove every post that doesn't relate to hunting (the mods will be busy) or just ones where people are selling pups?.

im saying of course it's going to irritate people when its definately not to do with hunting in any way, shape or form. he knowingly posted this thread on the BULL BREEDS section of a HUNTING website. im not saying remove any post that doesn't directly relate to hunting but this is going against alot of what the lads on here (myself included) stand for, ie breeding for form over function, selling the pups at an unnecessary profit and not even suggesting that the parents had seen work, but telling us their show lines etc.

sorry but in my view this post should be deleted

Mind you the views from your balcony are quite something :icon_eek: ...... :clapper:

I was advertising through my brothers computer but I have now signed up as a member and I have sold all the pups bar 2 so I am not to bothered if anyone does buy one of this site.

If I dont agree with how someone has bred a litter I wont go on and bitch about its type and just because the puppies father had some show winning stuff in his pedigree doesnt mean the pups wont work, it just means it looks nice at the same time and if dont like how other people breed then I will keep my mouth shut because someone is advertising something that someone might want, what gives me the right to put him or his pups down, none whatsoever.

And for those who think she is not a worker and like to see scars and scabs on a dog this pics for you.

As I said its not a competion about war wounds.
