Rogue and running dog 26
Be patient at the start and you will have a gd dog for a lot longer! Hammer it too young before its developed and it will be knackered before its prime! Quote Link to post
earlystart 56
Each to there own mate, but which one will know more at twelve month old? Quote Link to post

socks 32,253
It depends on what you are going to be using the dog for ...,if its ferreting going out now and sitting on a warren for 10 minuets at a time won't do it any harm ..... If its lamping then obviously it's way to young ........ 3 Quote Link to post

earlystart 56
Plenty of bull x fans on here will give you advise on this breed but I would say they start them very early from what I've been told and they seem to do well in there eyes not a x I would go for again but I'm sure you ll be fine with it. Like I said be sensible! ATB Earlystart. Quote Link to post

earlystart 56
Reddawn said today best he has had with his 8 month old pup is 18 rabbits so that quite good going so he gets them out young! And he runs a bull x,if you want to see my 8 month old pup run you are welcome any time and I've had him out from 8 weeks old and he will catch more than reddawns dog! Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
If its lamping then wait until the dog has developed enough to cope with running hard at night ....... 1 Quote Link to post
