how the dog work?im thinking of putting airedale on to my 3\4/1\4 bull bitch,just need a bit of info on the breed.some that have or had this breed say that they hard working and should be alrounders.

4x4 cymro ....go anywere....hunt anywere.....best nose iv come across...but goes of track and wont stop till she puts it up...so its just daytime work with her

 

we call her the fire and forget

 

shes about 19 /20 att...very difficult to messure.... when you approch she give you that sideways look as if to say what you up to dick head ...then runs off

if any one can remember last november i had a litter from my 3/4 bred whip 1/4 bed bitch to a JRTXBORDER/LAKELAND , i posted quite a few pics of the pups , a close mate as one of my bitch pups i will try get a pic of her as she is now , shes a game little bitch , shes just starting out out moment , the litter was varied as in size ect , , most of them become whippety sized/build with JRT heads , but the to dogs from the litter was terrier shaped , also one bitch had a distinctive blue eyes which still remain in the bitch , didnt know were that as come from .

i've got a pat whipet mat 15 inch to shoulder beltin bushin bitch works with ferrets and looks like a skinny patt beltin nose on her works hedgehog to tduck meaning she'll scent up anything really tidy little bitch

what you want them for chainman more speed or more nose etc?tried a real racy whippet X bull

the litter never really worked out,a bit cobby,more so than the mother,and never threw any height

maybe a pure whippet,

or a beagle or springer for hunting up?let me know what you choose mate ,be interesting what you choose

Me and Royston used to knock about with this young lad named Nathan,...he has a whippet crossed with a JRT,...hand on heart, one of the best allrounders i ever seen, for her size of course!

 

 

I thought you said Royston's bitch was the best... ... ...you had ever seen,

 

 

 

The mum of these pups, is seriously, inch for inch, pound for pound the BEST Lurcher i have ever seen!

The little JRTXWhippet was a great little dog...she TRIED to catch everything...but she was a rabbit, and rat dog, she took one Roe (bounced) and one 3/4 fox cub.

 

Roystons bitch (The beddie x Grey) IS the best i have seen for her size...the only thing stopping her being a GREAT dog, a once in a life time sorta deal, is about 4" and 20lbs!..lol.

 

Pre-Ban, she took rats, rabbits, hares (single handed, daytime) fox, Muntjac, Roe, Partidge, Pheasant, and Fallow (doubled up)...for a bitch that is a Nats pisser under 20", i dont care who you are...THATS fecking impressive....the JRTXWhippet, WANTED too be good, but just lacked the size/gears...the Beddie cross, was/is a very good bitch, and the breeding that Royston has made should rectify the only small problems that she has..
