hi im after buying a springer for rough shooting im thinking of buying one and sending it for some training i dont need one training to a very high standard just need the basics doing realy how much do trainers charge roughly for residentiel training or should i buy a prt trained one i cant decide

Do it yourself mate, contrary to popular belief you don't need endless amounts of time, little and often works well.

Also whilst your training your dog you're building a bond with it also.

they all vary mate if you were near me i would do it for you as i love training dogs im in the process of helping a lad out with his and its getting there 9 months sit stay stop retrieve in the presence of another dog so i think it will make a canny dog [springer]-billy

I dont think i have the skills to do it my self , though how do these look they look well on there way and for what i need i suppose it cant be that hard or can it
