Hollow point rimfire ammo

Recommended Posts

I think all .22 LR is classed as expanding, yes. There are however some match bullets, such as sierra matchking, that are hollow point by manufacturing process, but not by design, and therefore not classed as expanding.

NO!

only the expanding types of .22lr

Can anyone give me a definitive answer please?

Is all .22lr ammo with a hollow point classed as expanding?

Simple fact is, as with some CF ammo, they are still expanding whatever you want to call them but some can be bought on a FAC with NO expanding condition because they are called Match rounds!

So what comes into debate is your definition of the word CLASSED!

Fair enough but it didn't read that way to me, when I see ALL, I see ALL!
