I like a bit of leg underneath them but some of the famous old names were both kc registered (or came from that stock) and also not exactly up on the leg. I have also seen specimens that look the part that instead fell apart when out in the field. Quote Link to post

It was a genuine question as I'm interested in the breed as I've had staffs most of my life but recently I had to have my old dog pts And finding it really hard to find a replacement .....
