I'm in the process of looking to rebuild a kennel block in a small barn. Its in an exposed site and gets ruddy cold over winter. I'm after ideas for heating the bedding boxes. There will be at least 16 boxes, so running cost is a serious issue. No gas on site so it would have to be electric powered.

I've looked at aluminium heat pads that I can fit in the base of each box, but am not sure as to how effective they would be?

Any suggestions welcome!
