Mr Whippy 1
Hey all, So I have a Saluki/Whippet/Collie bitch, 15 months old and getting into her first season. My intention is for her to be a purely rabbiting dog. She's been out on three ferreting trips now, and is getting on very well in every aspect except one. When she runs a rabbit, she'll have no problem catching it up and getting hold. However, once she has a hold and the rabbit stops struggling she lets go so she can run it again. Also, her first strike doesn't seem to be as aggressive/focused as it should be. Any ideas on how to correct this? Quote Link to post
