Jake .V. Hebb 0
I have always been into hunting since i was about 9. ive always hunted with air rifles but i fancyed a change, so i went out and bought myself a saluki bull grayhound bitch pup. she ( socks ) is of an aprox age of 11 weeks old. the reason im a posting this topic is because i would like to get some infomation on how i should start training her up for catching rabbits, i dont want to sound like a complete idiot its just that ive never hunted or trained a dog but due to me always using rifles. any help on this topic would be greatly appricatied many thanks Jake. jjbull 38
not another monkey hanger lol(only joking)im from darlington, like i said take it out play with it call it back when ever you want dont wait till you actually want it back(if that makes sense)and praise it when it does your training it without training it then, when its on a lead stop and sit it at curbs tell it to wait untill you give the command to cross all these little things teach it basic control without it being a lesson, just with those tasks your on the way to teaching it stop sit stay and come Quote Link to post
