jawn 449
I guess I'm odd. I don't give a S$%t if a man puts a skirt on his dog a dances around his front yard with it. This in my not so humble oppinion is why there are all of these crazy laws. If I don't like it, I don't look at it, and I sure as hell try not to give it a bunch of thought. I don't think a guy is an anti for expressing a different view, but he may have had a little too much animal planet as a child. I hunt terriers with and without docked tails. A working terrier is likely to get injured with... or without a docked tail at some point. Nothing barbaric about any of it. JM2c 5 Quote Link to post

antsa 40
Well i don't come on here so often anymore, i remember why now why, 10 pages and 9 pages of abuse, I live where its illegal to dock, never had no probs with my Jagd and [bANNED TEXT] you start they only go to ground, and read the rest of this post before you answer!! I do agree with docking and see no harm in it especially for cover dogs and terriers where the the tail set is high, but i'd rather work a terrier with no dock than 1 who has too short a dock. 1 Quote Link to post
Grinder 102
Why would you rather work a terrier with a full tail than one that is docked v short ? What advantages does the full tail have over the stump ? Just curious :-) Quote Link to post
antsa 40
no difference really for working ability both as ugly, but at least you've got more chance of grabbing a tail than a stump, but as i said not looking for a slanging match Quote Link to post

lowry 48
if tails done at 2-3 days old then pups hardly make a sound.. a lot of terriers and spaniels used to hunt thick cover and long tails when damaged do hinder the dogs performance .. who the hell would put there dogs through that when it can be prevented ever happening in the first place.. wake up and smell the coffee.. we dont need the antis to stop our sport people like you will give them all the bullets they need.. 1 Quote Link to post
