goats milk for ferrets

hi all just wondering if it is ok to give the ferrets some goats milk as a treat , and would you give it warmed or straight from the fridge , cheers

Used to buy it and freeze it used it for pups and ferrets ,no need to warm it up

Im not sure but i get lactofree milk for em (obviously as theyre lactose intolerant) they love it and it doesnt give them the shits at all. Nor sure it does anything for them but they enjoy it.

I have given the ferrets and dogs goats milk for ages and they are fine.

Sometimes when introducing new ferrets or after a hard days graft as a treat, i will give them an egg and milk soup. I just use lactose free milk.

Best to use lactose free milk. Lactose is a sugar, and ferts just aren't adapted to digest them. Sugars can cause issues with the adrenal gland, cancerous issues. However if a small dish of goats milk is given between several ferts say once a month, can't really see an big issue. ATB.

Well just back from tesco brown whole meal bread 9 pence that will do the mutts next time im mincing chicken and goats milk 10 pence a pint the ferrets can share that and i will freeze the rest and give it to them over the next month or so

No the ferrets will get the odd drink of goats milk , but i mince chicken carcasses ,brown bread ,dry dog food and veg's for the dogs freeze it in kilo boxes
