johnwhit 4
Cheap pellets are better because they are only £4.99 a tin of 500. Ignore the fact that you can't hit the target with them, they still go phut and make a hole in the fence. They are brilliant for the pellet maker/seller too, because you then blame the gun for the constant missing and go and spend more money on another one. £4.99 and you hit the target 3 times per tin. That's a bit of a sweeping statement, I'm having great results with RWS Superfield 4.51mm and Superdomes, they're hardly the most expensive pellets. ATB, John Quote Link to post

ATB, John Are they the most consistent ones in your rifle? If so, use them The point I was trying to illustrate was that trying to save a few pence on pellets is false economy. I think it was a bit to cerebral for on here though. Quote Link to post

Yes the RWS Superfield If so, use them I do The point I was trying to illustrate was that trying to save a few pence on pellets is false economy. Yes I understand that, but it's not always the case that you need a more expensive pellet, having said that my HW77K isn't very pellet fussy, shoots most quality pellets consistently. I think it was a bit to cerebral for on here though. Quote Link to post
