Thanks for the replies.

I see that you cant take your own grub in to the park, but elsewhere I read that the places that have the buffet breakfast you can make a few rolls etc for lunch snacks. So will take some sandwich bags down to breakfast!

To be honest this little holiday has been a long time coming and I dont wanna rough it! LOL

Was thinking of doing the self catering cabin, but youd only probably eat convenience stuff.

Gonna go for the cowboy cookout lunch with Woody, bout £80 for the 4 of us, only a burger type grub, but cant wait to see my lads face. Can you put a price on a memory like that?

Agree with above I've even a couple of times, the shuttle buses that take you from the hotel can really test your patience they basically collect and drop off to every hotel and johnny foreigner has no idea about queuing or being courteous be warned..

As above the food is very expensive inside but take the kids to The Rain Forest cafe it's like being in the amazon all the gorillas monkeys ect move about and the noise is fun for the kids.

The best ride IMO is the rock and roller coaster but its lightning quick and throws you all over, if your interested in history there is an indoor walkway (down the left side I think) and its lined with small boutique shops and it tells the story of the statue of liberty that the French gave to the USA I found it interesting.

In the train station there is a very small supermarket we bought sandwiches fruti etc there and took them into the park, we also got a few bottles of wine and took them into our hotel room as my youngest was only 3 so was knackerd after the park and we could have a drink and a chat when the kids were in bed.

Enjoy it you'll have a great time ATB

Yeh we went in June,,stopped at val de Europe it's a purpose built village type place outside the park,,, got to say I enjoyed euro Disney ... But it is expensive, takes some getting round in a day,, in fact you can't realy...

If you get time go to Paris for the day,,, feck me , that is one impressive city,,,, but Jesus is it expensive .

Best thing to do with anything your thinking of booking,, including hotels and trips,,, is go on the net and and have a look at reviews first,,

We've never been to Paris, but we've always taken our own food and drink into the park when we've been to Orlando. Nobody ever tried to stop us. Tower of Terror is one of our favorite rides, but there arn't any bad rides IMO. Except "The small world" ride. Not sure if Paris have that one, I wouldn't go on that again, but you'll have too.

You'll all have a blast, it's great.

Thanks all for your replies. All booked. 3 days there, staying in one of their hotels half board. Just into the xmas season aswell, fingers crossed for dry days!

That rainforest cafe looks good, the missus and the eldest have been to the one in London a few times, I went to the same place (recognised the snake bar) when it was a nightclub in the 90's.

Tomo, ill swerve Paris this time, worked there a few times, and always glad to on the way home, worked at eurodisney aswell about 15 years ago, just building exhibition stands up so was in and out, was very expensive back then for a pint, about a fiver (1998) probably over a tenner now!

Looks like its not gonna be cheap, but all you folks saying 'the looks on their faces' etc,..........priceless.

Went when my eldest was 5 ( she's nearly 14 now), we drove there through the night but couldn't get in the room till 3 o'clock the first day was a bit hazy lol

Went with my brother and sister in law and my niece ( same age as my girl) and the kids loved it, we packed up from breakfast each day ( made ham and cheese rolls, fruit etc) as everyone has said the food is silly prices.

The misses got dragged up as one of the extras in the stunt show , running around screaming as cars were jumping all around etc lol

Your little one will walk around mouth wide open, especially seeing all the characters, my girl loved sully ( monsters inc) back then so her hug with sully was special. They loved filling in the autograph books too, plus your older one has some decent rides to go on.

If its still going give the cowboy show a miss loads of money and the kids got bored not worth it IMO, there's some good entertainment in the evening in the bars in the park, really random acts but good fun.

Hope you and the kids love it......

We're going in January on the euro star. Much quicker than flying and cheaper too. Depending on your budget, the pink palace is the best place to stay as it at the entrance to both parks and you can see the characters without queing up. If its the first time you've been, both kids will enjoy it, but its geared more towards the 2 year old than the 15 year old. Great place though.

Been a few times, we stayed in the explorers hotel just outside the parks, and it was a lot cheaper than the actual disney hotels. Also I would reccomend eating at Annettes Diner....the best burgers I have ever eaten... and they all get up and dance randomly, and its all set out like an american diner back in the 60's.

Reccomend space mountain and the Indiana Jones ride for you and your eldest kid, and the youngest will love most of it to be honest, there are parades which the younger lot love.

Wherever you choose to go, have fun its a right good laugh... just expensive food and drink.

Almost 6 euros for a pint of watered down piss.
