stewie 3,387
was just wondering what you take out with and how much it cost......i take the obvious lamp and battery..... but also in my bag i have a small hacksaw and pair of pliers for any barbed wire accidents, f*****g stuff should be banned..... , spare chocolate box connecters, screwdriver and tape incase of any wiring issues....... and then incase something happened to me i take a glow stick, whistle and waterproof clothing!! then i have my gutting knife in a sheath on my belt.............. on my bag ive threaded copper wire round he mouth so its easier to drop rabbits in....... and all in that ways under 10kg so easy to carry all night!!!..... also in the vehicle, i like to have a spare battery, fresh water for the dog and a basic first aid kit!!!! i dont think you can be to wary of what can happen when out in he dark on your own and even tho everyone has mobile phones these days, to me its still important to have a bit of basic equipment on you............... all of the above ive begged, borrowed or stole.......... and only thing that cost me owt was the lamp......£25 about 8 yrs ago lol.............. 1 Quote Link to post

Chid 6,623
Get your self a set of fencing pliers do away with the normal pliers and hacksaw (just saved you some weight lol) But fencing pliers can be used for cutting wire pulling fence staples out and twisting the wire back together if you do need to cut it and repair Quote Link to post
nasher1 258
If your carrying that about at least get yourself a decent lamp, I tried one of those a few year ago even with a 100w bulb in it was pretty crap Quote Link to post
