dogs-n-natives 1,182
Crays dont bother me, I would rather fish with lures and hoy in a crayfish trap while I fish the pike lol For pike, I dont rate many Northumbrian loughs highly, but I do have permision on one with huge fish pike and perch, but its a private nature reserve. Sweethope Loughs have pike and allow fishing all winter, they have a few around and above 20lbs, you wont blank there, but average fish are 2 - 9 lbs or there abouts. I have mates that fish Bolam lakes regularly for pike, but their not big fish usually. I hear Fontburn has a few aswell, but its a trout lake mainly so I dont know what their pike policy is. Hope this helps Quote Link to post
