gamerooster 1,179
come on lads, the fella asked a question. IMO, i would not bother with this cross, as someone has already said, there is already proven crosses out there, plus just because you want one, does not mean anyone else will, by all means if you can find homes for them, then by all means go ahead with it, dare to be different, but i really don't see what this cross would be much use for??? gamerooster 1,179
Cheers gamerooster.your opinion is apreciated mate.just thought theyd be similar to a saluki x with bucket loads of stamina I agree mate on the stamina part, its the bulkiness i would not be to keen on, as with most first crosses to a sighthound to a non sighthound, there is what you call litter wastage, in other words dogs that are not suitable for worker, due to simply them not being fast enough, and as we all know, you may got lucky and have them throw to the greyhound and have a decent litter of pups, or they could throw to the husky side and be no use what so ever, its all part of the gamble you take when breeding dogs, you just never know what you are going to get!!! leegreen 2,173
Got to be better than a Malamute cart horse X. Although if I were to choose a dog that I would have for ten years or more, I'd like something tried and tested. Link to post
