Ideation 8,216
Well, today i wasn't working until the afternoon, so i decided to have a few hours out in the morning. The plan was to go and check out some land that i had been asked to clear, see what was what and take a few rabbits while i was at it. Got up early and headed off with the dog, found the land and saw this . . . . . So that was the plan fecked . . . . With it being a bit of a drive, i decided to soldier on, and had a mooch, with the dog. It was wet, very wet. Nothing was ferretable, i'd have been better off with a fishing rod! The dog did pick up one mixy bunny, so that was a plus and negative in one go. Oh and i got chased by cows, and the water went over my wellies.    Funny as feck really, you have to take the rough with the smooth. To salvage something from the day, i made a phone call and went to have a quick hour at another bit of land. This place has plenty of rabbits, but its mostly very hard hedges which are impossible with one man and one dog. SO we mooched about, getting marks, and mad our way (me and the dog) to a small wood. Soon enough Finn ran one to ground in a heap of sticks with a few holes, and i neeted up and sent in the ferret. The rabbit got as far as the mouth of a hole, and the jill pinned it. I let the dog mooch about a bit more and got a few marks in a bit of a hedge, that wasnt too bad, so netted up my side and left the dog the other. As luck would have it, three bolted into the nets and one to the dog I was out of time and had to head to work, so called it a day. However i then got stuck in traffic and was late for work anyway Oh well 3 Quote Link to post
