jasper65 6
Fell of my chair when I saw the value of this. Had a MK1 1974 plate when I first passed my test but mine was a little 1100, bet that would be worth a few quid these days now too http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1969-Ford-Lotus-Escort-RARE-/380450221690?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item589499ae7a

Malt 379
Nice! Mate of mine is restoring a genuine mk2 RS2000 to original factory standard, been about 4 years on it now doing a bit at a time. Had a look at it a few weeks back, it's had a bare metal respray, total engine rebuild using new parts, the works. He reckons it'll be worth upwards of £20,000 when it's done if he keeps everything bog standard..
