BEARINATOR 2,867
My cousin runs his on westhoughton gh track.but to honest i wouldnt dream of running his on a rabbit as to clumsy I wouldn't run a track dog out in the fields either as they turn like a bus , although I've tried a few times Quote Link to post
Floyd17586 454
Anytime he mentions bringing it i imagine him building up top speed in a small field and [bANNED TEXT] rabbit turns dog keeps going and gets badly hurt or even worse Quote Link to post
paulsmithy83 567
How ever many bad point a grey got a still love to see em on a course, dont think they suit the rabbit but a good big rab its a nice site to watch. borntoruns old man got one seen that go a few time aint bad loads of stamina and me bro had one but it broke its hock can remember when it was at end off healing at stage were could be walked small distances now my bro took it for a short lead walk in the field, plan was only to lap the field then put em back in van. now we never seen any big rabs or any wild life for that matter in there be for and then all sudden a big rab gets up in the jerk to get it broke collar and coursed the hare for 4 mins with a broken hock and caught the thing. That was the last hare he ever ran as to much damage was done but shows the drive on the mutts. Dont see many worked ones around tho Quote Link to post

jordan g 4
my dad had greyhounds all hes life never whent on the track with them just used them for coursing and [bANNED TEXT] i learnt frow him was that a greyhound dog was to big for rabbits but a greyhound bitch is a bit sharper so they make better rabbit dogs and u got to get them from a puppy and bring them up like a lurcher and the other thing is were thay r faster then lurchers u got 2 start them in the field younger but just dont push them to hard intill the old anuff and strong anuff to handle it Quote Link to post
