Woman trampled to death by cows..

Recommended Posts

Limousin cattle are the most aggressive and unpredictable (not the pedigrees as the dodgy temperaments are not bred from and they are often well handled for showing) cows more so than bullocks, charolais & belgian blues & freisians are among the most docile

Bulls with dodgy temperaments are usually well known and a bull alone in the field is more dangerous than a bull running with cows

9/10 cattle are bluffing when they charge but if the cow has a calf and charges she means to kill you

Bring a stick when walking through fields with cattle it makes you appear bigger

Having a dog on a lead is an invitation for cattle to charge you

I can just imagine getting permission from a farmer.then the next time he sees me I'm lobbing bricks at his livestock. Shh you do come out with some classics!

Best place for them is on the plate....

haaaa ha yeah ok ill remember that blowing down your nose thing next time a ton a beef is charging down the field after me lol

Tend to avoid them whenever possible. You learn pretty fast as a kid to read their body language, lol. They have a nasty habit of leaving a calf tucked up in long grass near a hedge which you can't see untill the mother goes ape shit!

My lurcher hates them, I'll try to stay away from them but when you get one that just wants some I don't mind my bitch driving it off.

I remember some prat in the bulldog game years ago telling me a story about when he had let his top notch proven gamedog into a field with a handful of cows to give it a " feel for things " .......within 5 minutes he realised his dog was being killed and didnt have the bollocks to go in and try to save him and ended up losing the poor dog.......plenty of ignorance out there when it comes to cows/horses etc

Saw a bull once get its head stick in a f*****g great big galvanised ring feeder, it was throwing the thing around above its head like it was a tin can.

Cows, Bulls, anything that could easily kill me if it wanted to I try to be wary of lol.

Had to catch a cow earlier in the year, she did the same with an old rusty mountain bike, she went mental around the field, left her to calm down and with the help of a bucket of nuts 2 of us eventually got it off her. Some folk avoid... I have little choice but to help, we still had to have vet out to stitch her leg

Cattle can be aggressive, had a dog thrown over a dry stone wall. Used to work with Jerseys, the bulls were very aggresive, they would throw round bales of straw into the air, and also threw the farm manager about like a rag doll one day, they would attack the tractors clearing out the sheds..............Saying that im fine with cattle but find horses are even worse with dogs
