I was recently talking to a farmer on one of my permissions and he began to tell me about two strange animals he had found. he said that he was feeding the cows one morning and a raccoon came up and sat next to him. needless to say he jumped a mile . the rspca came out and caught that one and another. they told the farmer that they were raccoon dogs.

i'm not too sure what my dogs would of made of it .

has any one experienced anything similar?

Your mates a better man then me I wouldn't of called the rspca :whistling:

Seen a web footed things several times in a week... I was in Norfolk though

I often see them too.........They're called Ducks  .

But as for the original post, I doubt the average RSPCA officer would actually know the difference between a Raccoon Dog and a lap Dog :duh:
