Surprise

I got bored today so I decided to go for a ride on the motorbike, as always all 4 dogs came with me, 3 running dogs and a terrier. I was going to go down the same bit of road as I always do but I saw a truck coming in the distance so I turned off onto a road where an old abandoned deer farm is, no one has lived there for 7 or 8 years, the owners of it moved to New Zealand. Anyway they used to have a load of animals there, peacocks, goats, emus, ostriches, fallow deer, red deer, guinea fowl, and when they moved away all they did was open the gates and let everything go! All the animals left except a few ostriches and emus but they died after a while of no one taking care of them, and sometimes a deer that used to be on that farm is seen in the area. I was riding along and 3 of my dogs had stopped for a drink but my one dog that seems to have amazing stamina stayed next to me and she looked to the side and started jumping up and down, she jumped a standards fence, next thing I know she clears one of the deer fences, runs straight down the fence and that familiar sound of a hare distress sounded. Couldn't believe she just caught a hare on her own, this dog is 29 inches to the shoulder and over 40kg! I hid the hare in the grass to get on my ride back, so my other dogs caught back up and I went passed a huge bush on the side of the road which would've been 10 metres from end to end, my bitch Bramble just dives in there and next thing I know a fallow doe is hightailing it across the paddock!

One of my dogs took off after the deer, I was yelling at him to stop, I got this photo and luckily the dog stopped and came back to me.
