Ripstop 89 Posted October 10, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 10, 2012 I have had a load of family problems/commitments, and couldnt see a way to work her and it wasnt fair on her, and she needed to run. Now someone round the corner wanted a dog, so I sold her, I didnt want her passed about, thats why I asked a small fee. Now the woman who took her was willing to let me take her son out and work the dog When i had time. Anyway, long story short the woman ended up owing me more money, so I explained that I wasnt waiting anymore, as I had already waited for 2 months and have a family to support. So we came to an agreement and I now have Ruby back. she is approx. 21-22 tts. By the way, she also got some beautiful porcelain dolls off my Lass for a very good price, which ended up us been owed all the money, plus what we lent to help her out. So you have a fair idea that it wasnt just the small fee for Ruby, it was a lot more. Quote Link to post

captain2010 2,806 Posted October 10, 2012 Report Share Posted October 10, 2012 He was brill on rabbits think Burnzy let him go cause he was not good on fox,but he turned into a brill dog for that to,mooching ferreting and lamping class little dog,I went out one night lamping with a few lads getting into lamping rabbits he took 36 rabbits single in one night was out about 2 half hours he did not miss one that night and no such thing as a lead with him class dog raging I ever let him go 1 Quote Link to post

She is a canny little mooching dog and cover work. Lamps well, ferrets good, and retrieves when out with the Air Rifle. She is very quiet in the kennel, costs nothing to feed her, but takes a lifetime to eat her grub. Other than that, WELCOME HOME RUBY. 3 Quote Link to post

She was Flat when I got her back, whereas she was normally bouncing, she is like a coiled spring again. Quote Link to post

Ripstop 89 Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 11, 2012 Money only came into the equation So I knew she wouldnt be passed about, I was wrong to have re homed her, but In Hindsight if I had known all of this would of happened then I wouldnt of parted with her. BUT its made me realise what a GOOD DOG IVE GOT, A PROPER POT FILLER. WILL GET SOME MORE PICS UP OF HER AFTER THE WEEKEND WHEN IVE FERRETED AND LAMPED WITH HER. SO NO NEED FOR ANYONE TO JUMP ON THE BAND WAGON AND START SAYING ALL THE USUAL CRAP. A LESSON LEARNT FOR ME, MAYBE THIS WILL BE OF HELP TO OTHERS, SO THINK BEFORE YOU REHOME ANY ANIMAL. A.T.B.
